Bold dreams and ambitions finding realization
I Am Sofia Foundation, with the support of Sofia Municipality and numerous supporters and friends, organizes the newest and largest urban capital festival. The event is united around the values of wisdom (the name of our capital), faith, hope and love, as fundamental principles of human behaviour and moral convictions to accompany the life and development of the city of Sofia. Sofia is ready to welcome its Sophia and all the colorful namesakes. We invite and gather the celebrants with wonderful names to be participants and guests of the festival. The Urban Arts Festival will offer a variety of activities to transform the space in front of the National Palace of Culture into an outdoor stage to attract people of all ages and interests.
Our initiatives for 2024 were:
Musical outdoor performances of favourite artists Street musicians, old town songs, children’s groups and talent and solo performers Dance performances Mural art and graffiti Break dance battles, beatboxing, rollerblading Art studio Presentation of books for big and small, literary readings with the authors Cinema and screenings of short films outdoors but big screen in front of the cinema and in Kabana cinema Gastronomic zone Hrankoop with selected organic products, Bulgarian wines and more …
