A lively idea generator with a thunderous laugh. When you come up with ideas, you have to implement them – and here you are now – Festival! For many years I was just thinking up shenanigans, but the time has come to implement them. One is called “The Hutman’s Tales” and the other is the festival – a celebration of Sofia and Sofya. At least four more ideas are waiting for their time. I have educated myself mostly from books and experience. A lot of experience, because I’m not at all afraid to make a mistake and try again.
Martin Karnolsky
Executive Producer
I have a Ph.D. in Theatre Studies and Theatre Arts, have authored my own training methodology in Stagecraft, and have worked with artists from over twenty-five countries. I have many years of experience as an organizer of concerts, festivals and special events with international participation. In my spare time I fly sport kites and make children, young and old, smile who also dream of flying.

Beautiful, smart, humble and talented …., I like art, freedom of thought and making people smile. I’ve been involved in media and communications and organizing international festivals and conferences for many years, not only in culture but also in energy… and yes, there are tangents. MA in Political Science and Public Relations, with scrubbed experience in international NGOs, communication agencies and companies.

Finding the beauty around you is something everyone learns from a young age. But to be able to recreate it, to refract it through your gaze and serve it up at the right time, in the right place and with the right people is bliss. Sofia is the city that gives me all this and most of all – teaches me to find the beauty in people’s hearts.

I was born and live in Sofia. I’ve been working in advertising for thirty years. I love the variety in the work, the challenges in every endeavour, meeting different people and of course the wonderful I am Sofia team, without whom this festival could not have happened. I am a hiker, traveler and adventurer, connoisseur of good food and quality drinks, passionate music lover.
